My current favorite ice cream brands are Tillamook and HEB Creamy Creations. My husband and I love the Creamy Creations Mexican Hot Chocolate flavor and the Dulce de Leche flavor.
We quit buying Blue Bell after they had the listeria outbreak and didn't tell the public. They got in trouble over that, but no forgiveness here. I haven't eaten it since 2015 do I don't know if it would taste different to me. So many things are not as good as they used to be.

I have to get up quickly and walk around from bedroom to kitchens for a few minutes. The dutch choc is the worst. Does anyone else have this issue? There is something in the recipe that is causing this issue. Please share Thank you.

I had seen this idea awhile ago. I had a couple ice cream cups in the freezer I bought from Walmart. Let me just say. that so called ice cream was like the margarine of yesteryear. pure chemical plastic! It never did melt completely. I threw out that poison and will never purchase it again! As for this recipe idea, I will give it another try. once I splurge on REAL ice cream

I thought it was just me. I stopped buying bluebell because it is not the same. I told my kids I thought the formula had changed. However, I have made French toast with ice cream along with eggs cinnamon and vanilla for years. It is delicious. At Christmas time use the eggnog ice cream. It is delicious.

I like Publix brand, though I don t like any vanilla ice cream. So I think I d try Publix chocolate ice cream and make chocolate French toast. Don t know how that will taste though. Hopefully good. Can you taste the vanilla in the French toast?

Hmm, this is a very interesting recipe for French Toast. I have referred to French Toast as egg toast over the years that I have been making it. I guess now per your recipe, I might have to refer to it as ice cream toast! LOL!

Just looks dry in the middle. Soaking the bread in the traditional egg and milk mixture penetrates into the bread creating a custard like center when cooked. This looks like it just coated the outside and you get a dry toast center.

When I purchase ice-cream (which is once every blue moon, depending on my mood I ll choose B&J s Chunky Monkey and Tillamook s Old Fashioned Vanilla. Money s tight now so I seldom purchase frivolous thing like this.

I can't make out the name of your brand but I've Loved Ben & Jerry's. My favorite thing to do is to get a pint of Ben & Jerry's and a good movie and have the best evening. Sadly to say that does it for me.

Haagen dazs is the real deal. And they have 2 vanillas. 1. Vanilla is pretty basic 2. Vanilla Bean is next level. This recipe looks delicious thank u!
