A great hack for easy to peel corn - pull off the first few leaves, trim the silk to one inch, but leave several leaves in place to cover the corn. Then cook with leaves and silks in place. You can steam, boil, or microwave in a damp towel. Then cut the bottom off, including the stem and the first half inch or so of the cob so none of the leaves are attached. Then squeeze the silk end of the corn like you are squeezing a tube of toothpaste. All of the silks pop right off in one go! Seriously life changing: )

I am so glad you added that in the end of Benjamin! Those days of them being so little and curious and eager to help with everything are so so precious and go by way too fast. My son is 12 and this just threw me back in time. Benjamin is so stinking cute, and couldnt be any more adorable. He has such a sweet and kind soul! Definitely my most favorite part of the video. Absolutely melted my heart! I cant wait to see Samantha out there helping in a couple years!

I am loving these last few videos that have the PS and PSS moments. This one was the absolute sweetest with you and Benjamin! I do have a question though that I thought about while watching this video, I see you guys drive through the cut garden so frequently on the tractor and gator, if the plan is to grass that area, wouldn't it be ruined from tire marks? Thanks for sharing these sweet moments, love all of your videos!

I recently learned of the very best way to cook fresh corn: pop the whole thing in the microwave (husk, silk, & all, then microwave for two minutes per ear. Let stand another two minutes per ear, then pull off husks and silk (they come off super easy. The corn is cooked perfectly and cleanup is a breeze.

My onion crop (first time growing them) fizzled out. what I thought were shoots of onions. turned out to be crab grass! Dang! Only have a couple. Not sure what went wrong. I always love watching your videos, but like others have said the end of this video was truly a gift! We're locked down for the 6th time here in Melbourne, Australia and we haven't been able to see our nieces and nephes in so long: (
Watching you with Benjamin was so, so lovely - thank you!

In a case like this, who is moving and positioning the camera and tripod when you're driving the tractor? Shots like those don't go unnoticed! I know that slows down the project time immensely, but so cool seeing the different areas and route back to the barn! Appreciate all your hard work!

Thank you for including the end of this video. Its amazing to see how much Benjamin has grown and watch him learn something new. My oldest son is about a year older than Benjamin and we have the best time sharing moments like this together.
