In this episode it's finally time to hit the water at Cedros Kayak Fishing in Mexico, and today our target is the fast, strong and TASTY yellowtail. The red crab are in full bloom and have drawn in fish from all around, but we'll have to weed through countless hits by packs of aggressive tuna called Pacific bonito before our reels really start singing that sweet yellow tune. Then we spot some whale bones on a beach and drop the kayaks back in to get a closer look

Love these videos. Haven't been to Mexico for many years now but back in the day the fishing in the Sea of Cortez was almost too easy. The abundance of fish made the biggest challenge getting to the target species past all the other fish. Nice to see that is still the case in some areas. Meanwhile, Robert, what ever happened to the Lightening Strike kayaks? I see they are still being made but I haven't seen you do any videos using these boats since the intro 10 months back. Was really looking forward to maybe seeing them being used in something other than dead calm waters and especially here on the west coast in our near shore waters. Based on the company web site and the lack of expansion of the page it looks like the boat is going to end up DOA for lack of attention. If you are still supporting this boat how about a new video? Came real close to ordering a couple of them when they came out but was hoping to see some more user vids to determine if they are really viable. Still hoping.

I feel like you could really benefit from clips. I live in so cal and fish calicos often. If you wanna switch stuff use clips. Kicker clips are one of the nicest but there are a few other major brands.

Isn't that the sea of 'cows'?
Can't tow the 'yaks?
Our seals are a problem.
You ever use a trailer hook?
Calico Bass looks just like a Quillback up here! LOL

So sick man. I got my first yellowtail a few weeks ago at Catalina island. Such a cool fish. I cant wait to get one an artificial. Great video as always man

Man these islands remind me of Guadalupe island, we caught 9, 000 lbs of fish, they looked like firewood stacked on the deck, it was a workout, so much fun.

Awesome video and great job catching the whole experience. When I have a fishing adventure, the fish I caught arent the only things Ill always remember.

Ive caught both yellowtail and jacks and in my opinion jacks put up a hell of a fight. need a break after one of those lol.
