In this VLOG entry I'm visiting the Bonneville Dam & Fish Hatchery to Francisco: I live along the Columbia, and everyone here is terribly sad about all the fires. Those trails were such an amazing place to spend weekends. I caught my first sturgeon right where you caught your 8 footer. Mine was a giant too, but not quite as big. It was about 7'2, and I was only 12. Took me an hour to pull in from a boat. Your videos are such high quality; thank you for the entertainment!

peeple dont get forest fires happen for a reason by us preventing them make it makes them worse and mother nature will do a better job of regrowth than we will ever do by trans planting. Great vid as usual. we got fried here in Canada with fires the only bonus is there wont be forest fires there for a long time. Peace and be safe out there.

Visited a fly fishing forum and one writer described that motion by the Salmon as kicking. Others have seen it taking place on different rivers and pooling areas, but no one really knows why and there is a great deal of speculation by various fishermen as to why.

Stellar vid as always. Loved seeing the hatchery! Off Georgian Bay there are a number of hatcheries/ladders. The ontario fisheries have cameras set up so you can log in to see the rainbow and salmon swim pass. Pretty amazing!

Awesome what you are doing. Both in getting the word out about the fires and showing people the fisheries. Thank you for doing what you are doing. I live in Florida and there wasn't much on the news about the fires at all.

Been to the Multnomah falls two times. I drove on the other side of the Columbia river the day the fires got big and it is really sad because it was an amazing place to go hiking.

Great episode Robert, it just makes me mad that people would start those fires on purpose. It's just beyond me why they would do that. Anyways, keep up the awesome work man: )
