If you are a skinny guy and are tired of having tiny arms then you need to watch this video. Here you are going to learn how to get bigger biceps and triceps by changing a few things about the way you are working out your arms right now. It doesn’t matter if you are a beginner or even very advanced, the arm training tips shared here are going to help you to put on more size to your arms. It starts with the first recommendation of flexing your biceps and triceps more often. That’s right, one of the biggest skills you can develop at any point in your lifting career is an ability to contract the muscle that you are trying to build. Many of us instinctively flex our biceps or triceps throughout the day just as a reminder of the hard work we put in that is paying off. Grow Your Skinny Arms Here - Subscribe to this channel here - That said, I want you to be more deliberate about it but of course it doesn’t have to be a big public display. Aim to contract your biceps intentionally for up to 6 seconds at a time. This time period is one that has been shown to allow for progressive recruitment of motor units that enables you to more effectively contract the biceps over time. The same can be done with a triceps arm flex. You can do this many times a day, with the intention of improving mind muscle connection in the long run. With that improving mind muscle connection, the best place to reinforce it is with bodyweight exercises for the biceps and triceps. You don’t have to worry about the weights encouraging you to use momentum and instead can take the focused contractions of the arm muscles to bodyweight exercises that train them. Here I like using the inverted chin curl and the cobra tricep pushup. When it comes to biceps growth specifically there are a few things that I want you to make sure that you do. First, is getting your curls right. Far too often people lose focus on the position of their elbow during curl exercises. They often times left the elbow drift either back or forward to start the lift. This is a mistake either way. If you are a skinny guy and want bigger biceps, try to control the initiation of the curl and prevent the elbow from moving away from your side until the bar passes mid rep. Moving the elbow backwards shortens the moment arm of the curl and takes work away from the biceps. Moving the elbow forward too early allows the front delt to start taking over the curl. Paying attention to the wrists on the curl is important as well. Try not to let them bend towards your body as you lift the weight up. This activates the forearm flexor muscles which once again takes away from the work being done by the biceps. Similarly effective biceps growth tips for skinny guys is to make sure you’re not overlooking the importance of the weighted chinup as a huge biceps buildling exercise. If you can do more than 10 bodyweight chinups then it’s time to be sure that you’re including weighted chins in your biceps workouts. For the triceps, you want to be sure that you’re including the overlooked bench dips exercise for building up the triceps and focusing on the contracted position of the long head of the triceps. The tricep kickback is another exercise that people forget to do that can help to build up the size of the arms. Just make sure to combine bands with dumbbells if you want to overcome the shortcomings of the exercise. Finally, spending more time in the stretch position of the stretch based tricep exercises is important as well. Here it is recommended that you perform some sets with one and a half reps. This will give you an extra stretch on every full range of motion rep, helping to increase the stretch tension stimulus for growth. If you want to build bigger arms, whether you are a skinny guy or not, be sure to not just follow these arm workout tips but also head to athleanx. com to check out the Ultimate Arms program. Being a hard gainer, I always felt inadequate, or like it just wasn't meant to be.
Almost all work out programs promise you that you'll be huge, if you finish their 3 month program. I never gained anything from doing those programs, and so I ended up quitting for years.
Thanks to Jessie and Jeff, I learned the key is time and consistency, and that the time factor is different for everyone. For some people, like Jessie and myself, it can take a year of eating well, and working out harder than last time before you see any gains.
Time and consistency. Stick with it, even if you're not seeing massive gains.

Ladies if you're over 40 and maybe some guys too. Understand that it takes a fair amount of time to build muscle and that's if you're eating correctly and exercising correctly. YOU HAVE TO BE PATIENT. Once we reach about 40-ish. the ol pituatary gland is simply not kicking out the gh like it used to when we were young. THAT'S A FACT! So building lean quality muscle and dropping visceral fat/sub Q fat is going to take some effort and time - period. Be patient and be consistant! Eat smart!

Man I swear Jesse has been looking the same for 5 years.
What happened to the traditional barbell curls and skull crushers Why complicate shit when it already used to work years upon years
I developed 17. 7 inch arm from 15 inch arms doing these things
Focusing on heavy lifts on my arm movements and progressing on them ( I can do 8 reps on 132 lbs barbell curls FYI and Skull crushers )
Not switching up exercises too much
Doing two arm days
Eating
Staying consistent

I get a kick out of these fake men with their wool hats they wear inside. Perfectly trimmed beard so as to not offend anyone or appear too masculine, all while trying to look like a man. Those flower tattoos to also look feminine at the same time are a nice touch as well. Being a man is not about being confused and looking cute with flowers. The capri pants with the tight cuffs on the ankles are just oo much for me. Do you guys share a wife Miss me with this nonsense.

Respect Jessie, you are so lean, something i could never relate to, but i can say that your committment and dedication is your super power. I bet your mind is just as strong as your muscles. Props brother, go eat some big meaty humans. They say you are what you eat so. nom nom nom some pacific islanders & Drink Fiji Water and Eat Fijian Food (the locals) we've been eating each other for a long time. seems to work. Especially for Rugby #FriendsForDinner

Great gains, Jesse! 8: 44 I've started doing bench dips again recently - I find dipping BACKWARDS, towards the bench, more effective. That way you can also maintain a straight body position without the shoulders collapsing or rounding forwards and the contractions feels more intense. I keep my hands and arms quite close to my body - I notice Jesse's are spread out further. I'd be interested to know which technique and position is better.

Jeff love your chanel been following u since my back op and applying your techniques through rehab and getting back went on to win SA middleweight boxing title but wanted to ask what's your take on rest. yes I listen to body and take day or 2 when I feel but is there a set recommended time line train 4 weeks take 1 week off or something like that

Here's a question:
Say you work labor jobs. The kind where you have to. say. shovel broken floor tiles into a dumpster in 3 layers of PPE for 6-8 hours in 35 degree (95 Fahrenheit) weather.
(Or other equally fun tasks)
What's the best series of exercises to do in order to build as much functional muscle/endurance as possible

reply

Not to degrade or lessen Jesse's progress because there is a big change from that skinny body to now, but he has been going to the gym for what almost 10 years or more He should have been a lot bigger unless he is just maintaining that type of physique. Either way, it is still progress. Good job jes

jk but Jeff picked the wrong dude to train he has the worst genetics man that’s what you call a hard gainer good for his results that’s mad respect from his shrimp size to now having decent size. If a dude with like average genetics got under Jeff’s wing you’d see a tank this many years deep

It didn't happen in the past but when I do dips now holy cow I cramp at the very top of the reps. It's kinda at the point where I can't really do them anymore cause it hurts. It sounds dumb but it's true. I guess I'd have to not quite contract all the way at the top, just go like 95% of the way

Thanks for sharing such valuable information! I have a quick question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter. How can I transfer them to Binance

I like using the bicep curl isolator. It makes it easier to overload without compromising form. I’m curling 20 lbs more than I could before because it prevents elbow movement while allowing for a better squeeze at the top of the rep
reply

What is it is uncomfortable for your back cuz for me my elbow doesn't go back it is always back as I'm holding it just based on habit from always having pain in my back which is not as bad now but it's still there
reply

Idk how big his are, but if they’re not above 16 inches it’s not worth any time. As a natural, once you’re past 16/17 inch it becomes more important what you do. That’s the protocol you should be spreading
reply

If we can just get him to stop drawing on himself.
And STAND UP STRAIGHT YOUNG MAN. Shoulder's back chest forward.
And whats going on with that belly. Good grief man.
It's not just your arms lmfao

You are one of the pillars of healthy humanity. You have an obligation now, not just your personal purpose. Do it right in the future as you have done so far. Thank you and I wish you all the best.

I'm so frustrated with my lack of gains but I finally figured out a solution to my problem. I shaved my head and grew a beard. I look 50% stronger and I didn't have to gain an ounce of muscle.
