Hi Jeff! New AX1 member here. I love these videos. They are full of useful tips for training correctly and great for motivation. However, some exercises demonstrated are extremely unusual and I fear if I was to use some of these more unorthodox training methods in the gym I would feel silly and have other people look at me as though I didn't really know what I was doing. Can you make a video that incorporates some very challenging exercises with big benefits that we can do in a regular gym without drawing the -what's that guy trying to do- stares? Many thanks. Keep up the good work. Phil N.

What about trimming up the left over flab that seems to never go away right directly over my lower abs. ( small strip along the belly button) I know the diet is the most important part and then the training, that you preach all the time, but even with the diet in check and following your program, I cannot get rid of this small 1 inch pinch right on top of my abs. It doesn't even extend to the love handles. It only sits right on top of my lower abs right above the belt line. What can I do, or is there something I am not doing? Please and Thanks

just a bit of advise to people doing this exercise, use two bars and bands,
jeffs right obliques will be getting a better work out because the band in behind his left shoulder so there is more force pulling him back. Whilst when he changed to the left side the band is on that side so there is less force pulling him back.
So instead you should use to bands using the left band for the right obliques and the band on the right for the left obliques.
Also if you use a cable machine you can add weight to the exercise, making it harder.

What about a one arm barbell bench press? A buddy showed me this. use the normal bench press station, put weight on one side of the barbell only, usually start with under 25lbs, and make sure to lock the weight on. start like you would do a normal bench press except the side that has no weight you keep your arm fully extended. the side that has the weight you do a normal press motion. seems very unbalanced and need to use you core to stabilize. thoughts?

great videos. I have been struggling with abs. whenever I work my abs they cramp up severely like a spasm. I have also noticed that my stumach is more pushed out then flat. for example when I flex my abs my stumach is quite firm but it tends to bulge outward rather the flatten. any idea what may be going on? I can flex and have them some what flat but I literally have to suck in my stumach and the flex feels weak this way

good 1. i love this movement. i will try that 2morow morning 5 sharp
i do something similar. pull a cable around my extended arms in a twist. followed by arms closer to body. followed by same cable same weight to simple cable crunches -b/c these take so little strength, as i'm tired from the twists plain straight pulling is much harder than would be.

Jeff,
don't you think, a bar with a resistanceband for -only- 179 - (here in Germany) would be much, much better? :D
Thanks a lot for this video and for sharing all your knowledge and methods!
Btw: resistancebands are not idiot-proof, watch Scoobies video about senator) Harry Reid.

Awesome, I hope I will find a place for that exercise in my routine. -. -
Jeff, you talked a lot about complex carbohydrates and how important they are for building muscle but could you please make a video about how complex carbs and fat loss work together?
