Calisthenics Skills Anyone Can Learn - At Home Beginner and Intermediates Alvise: Planche leans are not beginner level. you can injure yourself very bad especially on raised surfaces.
To feel confident in most of the movements you showed us, one needs to have an adequate level of base strength and flexibility otherwise tendonitis is gonna hit very bad especially on shoulders elbows and wrists.
You should mention a good conditioning too In the beginning.
Have been training true Calisthenics since two years and not a single base movement (push up, pull up and dip) is mentioned here.
Guys don't injure yourselves be aware of your body and of your strength level.

In my experience success with the elbow levers depends highly on your anatomy / body proportions. Even though I can do all the other exercises in this video, having broad shoulders and short upper arms, it is impossible for me to rest my lower abdomen on the elbows as demonstrated (and my elbows slip off easily from the upper stomach/sternum, which is not soft as it should be, but bulging out in that position.

Last part: it IS easier on a higher surface, because your head can go much lower and balance more the weight of your lower body rising up (remember: your head is hella heavy, its position is the most important factor when balancing your centre of gravity. So basically rising your legs requires the less strength the lower you can go with your head

Hello I've been trying the handstand from another video you did I cant seem to move off the wall. what is a realistic time frame to master one? I know everyone is different but interested how long it took you. So thankful for your videos, anyone can try calisthenics -

Hey Lucy.
At the very beginning; did you work with weights to get your arms and shoulders stronger so they could carry the body. feels like I have to work with weights before starting calisthenics. already started 2 months ago. but feels like it will take ages.

I'm doing your 30 days Calisthenics workout this month. And now I'm really motivated to learn all this moves.
Does anyone know the best method to begin? Should I focus on one move or train all moves daily? Would love to hear opinions or experiences.

Would a handstand be safe for someone who's got metal bars in their back preventing any flexibility besides hips? I had scoliosis before so now every exercise I do my back can only be straight. If I was to fall backwards, I'd fall like a wooden plank -

Great video! Here's a safety tip: When I was a kid, my gymnastics coach would tell me to always remember that even though it's called a headstand, remember to put all my weight into my hands and not my head. Saves on neck injuries.

I-m so excited I discovered you! This kind of exercise is all new to me! I-m such a yo yo exerciser. You-ve inspired me to be able to hold a handstand. And to start being consistent! Thank you for all you share -
