I finished EPIC 1 and, oh boy, it was hard but also fun.
At first I was intimidated by Caroline-s workout. I exercise oft, but usually run away from titles like -brutal abs-. If EPIC 1 would be something for me?
My recap:
I-m a female, pre-menopause age. Never was really fat, last years (over 40) fat increased specially belly and arms (bingo) although eating less and healthy.
My goals: build muscles and increase strength, reduce belly fat and get rid of the -bingo- arms.
Performance: I started on Dec, winter time, needed 16 weeks to complete the 10 weeks program. Needed to do pauses, coz energy was not high in some months. Week 7 needed to increase rest days. Had to modify some workouts, was feeling my knees in the beginning, so worked with extra care and felt better at the end. Didn-t change my diet apart from increasing my protein intake (with food, no shakes.
My struggles: length of the workouts, I-m not a fan of long workouts and mentally struggled with the 1 h work before even started. / Repetitions, I hated some of the repetitions.
Loved: Learned some new movements and loved Caroline-s energy. No talk was also fine, although don-t have a problem with talking trainers (when they do not shout out in my ears. Music was great. Also loved Caroline-s approach to diet. The work and love to details with her videos and that she-s not trying to sell stuff. She-s the real deal.
Results: Definitely increased strength and stamina. My arms are more toned and look leaner, biceps got bigger and triceps definitely harder. Reduced a bit of bingo arms, but I know I have to reduce body fat to see results. Weight increased some grams, but not significantly. Cannot see any diference by the midsection, measures are the same.
Conclusion: EPIC 1 was a great program and I have no reason to fear Caroline-s workout. I will definitely start EPIC 2 in summer to maintain my muscles. At some point I will try to reduce my body fat to see my abs, but goal now it-s to keep/gain muscles. Big thanks to Caroline to provide these programs for free. You are awesome!

Done! - I finished EPIC I yesterday. I must confess, I started the program a little bit sceptic. My goal at that time (somewhere in mid November; today is 13/02) was simply to get fit. I had been loosing weight for a while and thought this would be a good way to tone my body. It soon became an addiction! I now look back and think that I should've taken those staring point pictures (I didn't think they were necessary. I look at the mirror and see many big changes: my legs and arms are toned and firm, my waist is a lot slimmer, my belly is flat and my abs are getting visible for the first time in my life! I also feel a lot stronger and agile. My husband notices many more differences (specially on the back) and even my friends say I look great! I had to buy new clothes and I'm definitely going to need new bras. -I went down almost 2 sizes and am now able to wear the jeans I wore before my kids were born! - And all thanks to you, Caroline. 1000x thank you! I love your work and will definitely continue to follow it! -- PS - I started EPIC II today; damn, it was hard! -

16 weeks postpartum and I just finished Epic 1! I am so proud of myself. It was challenging at times to find the time to workout with a brand new baby but I knew that I needed this hour of working out everyday to feel confident, strong, and do something for ME. Sometimes I woke up at 5am before my baby was awake, sometimes I did a workout at 11pm and sometimes I completed one workout between two 30 minute naps. I am so grateful I was consistent. I have never felt stronger and more capable! I have barely checked my weight but I-m back down to the size I was before getting pregnant but waaay more muscular! I am amazed by what my body is capable of. Thank you so much Caroline, I think I-m your biggest fan!

Today i completed my first EPIC program, and I feel amazing! I can't thank you enough Caroline, you are an incredible person, you are pushing my limits like never before, for example the first time you said that it's better to do one complete push up than 10 on the knees i started focusing more on my form and my muscles. i didn't do another single push up on my knees! And my dumbbells went up from 5 kg to 6 kg, i plan to upgrade as soon as i'm capable, and i can't wait to start epic II with you! P. S. day 44 was the absolutely best, challenged me phisically and mentally, but it's so rewarding at the end!

Loved Epic I & am excited to begin the next series. i know I am late to the game. My husband & I have been doing Epic I and just finished. I have not really lost any weight, just a few lbs but have lost inches which was more important to me: )
My husband has lost weight and has also found that your workouts have made his legs stronger for mountain biking. he says it is like we are doing intense group classes at the gym again! Thank you Caroline for filling the void of our previous gym/fitness center. You are awesome!
