TORCHED Lower Body Workout - Legs & Glutes - EPIC Heat - Day 31 - Caroline Girvan

Glutes, hamstrings, quads in complex format! Be prepared to feel every muscle in your lower body during this 30 minute intense lower body session! For this session you will need a pair of dumbbells, your glute band, a chair for Bulgarian lunges & hip thrusts and your mat! Each complex is 3 minutes duration, with 30 seconds rest inbetween! Most of the exercises within each complex will be performed for 10 reps each, apart from the calf raises which will be x20 reps! Some of the complexes involve all one side work such as the kneel to squat, Bulgarian lunges and single leg hip thrusts! --- The dumbbells I am using for your reference are 12. 5kg each. I use x1 25kg dumbbell for hip thrusts. HIP THRUST COMPLEX FULL RANGE x10 PULSES x10 HAMSTRING THRUST x10 SQUATS x10 1/2 REP SQUATS x10 CALF RAISES x20 RDL x10 REAR STEP LUNGE x10 REAR STEP LUNGE x10 (switch) KNEEL TO SQUAT x10 CURTSEY LUNGE x10 KNEEL TO SQUAT x10 CURTSEY LUNGE x10 BULGARIAN LUNGE COMPLEX FULL RANGE x10 PULSES x10 FORWARD LEAN x10 FULL RANGE x10 (switch side) PULSES x10 FORWARD LEAN x10 SINGLE LEG HIP THRUST x10 PULSES x10 STAGGERED x10 SINGLE LEG HIP THRUST x10 (switch) PULSES x10 STAGGERED x10 Finisher: 30 seconds each! With band! LATERAL SQUAT WALK 1/2 REP SQUATS SIDE STEP (one side) SIDE STEP (switch) FORWARD & BACK SQUAT WALK SQUAT PULSES! If I know you all as well as I think I do, I-m sure you will absolutely LOVE this workout! And don-t underestimate the bodyweight only single leg hip thrusts! I found these the most challenging! Welcome week 7-
I can't believe that I've already came this far using my 5kg DBs! Now, workout isn't just a hobby for me, but it's already became a part of my daily routine. Today is the lower body day, the pain when it comes to bulgarian lunge and single leg thrust were really challenging!
Love and hate at the same time because it makes me lost my balance sometimes-

Omg that was awful ---. thanks Caroline for pushing me well and truly out of my comfort zone and having to rely on my determination not to give up! Did have hit pause a couple of times I must admit!

Absolutely no way I will be able to move tomorrow -- that was AMAZING and so challenging! Could barely get through the lunge complex - thanks for always making us sweat! So grateful for these!

The Bulgarian lunge sequence and the glute bridge I think were equally challenging. holy crow! Wondering how stairs will be in a couple of days. lol! Thanks for the great workout.

Torched is the right word! Those forward leaning bulgarians were sooo good after the pulses! Also, single leg hip thrusts were no joke. --- Such a good workout Caroline!

The burn in my bum -oh wow in the legs oh my that was great! I do not like the thrusts-but I think I'm beginning to the burn is real- thank you Caroline the heat is on

I only used 20lbs weights and still couldn't keep up! I rested a lot, but did finish. Took about 45min, instead of the 30. I hope I can walk tomorrow -

I thought the bulgarian lunges were the most challenging and the kneel to squat. I felt a change in my legs like they were getting stronger
