Doing machines wrong is the best advice I've ever heard. I go on a squat machine and squat down and hold then push the bar up bringing all the tension to my front delts and boy oh boy is it a killer workout. The motion is you squat hold the squat at a wall sit position use the handles if there is any by your neck and push up without leaving the air sitting position. Than bring them back down and go up from the squat. Also brings nice tension to the thighs but I focus my energy on my delts.

I really like that you brought up the fact that you can use machines in different ways. I've had many folks come up to me and said - because you are big and in shape is the only reason why what you're doing now can make any sense, because if you were a average looking person we would ask you what the f--- are you doing on that machine. - lol. To grow you must think outside the box.

So would that 30 day workout plan be a good one for someone who hasn't worked out in a conventional gym? I started in CrossFit just because I have no idea what to do in a gym myself but work has made that impossible so I have a membership at a regular gym now and need direction so I can continue to meet my goals. I really want to lose body fat and build muscle

I honestly love these videos, I will never watch anything else. I am implementing so much of the techniques in my own workouts and its almost sadistic. But I love the humor and the delivery. These videos are an absolute must. Thank you so much for teaching us and the entertainment all at the same time.

If people don't get the joke then they're definitely on the wrong side of the coin. Thank you for the tips I've been using the workouts and they've been working out great they're making me very sore which means they're working. Great job with the humour and lifting tips.

I thought I did a decent workout on my arms until I ran day 1 of the Garage Gym Program. By the 3rd exercise of set 1 (of 4) my arms were already screaming. I don't think I've ever worked my arms harder than yesterday. Can't wait for shoulder/traps today.

I have been experimenting with weight plates. I use them for rear delts. I can really feel it hitting it. It's the same motion as your barbell rear delt exercise. Of course the plates need to have holes in them to be able to hold them.
