You wanna lose weight stick to chicken, eggs, fish, greens, and protein shakes. The only thing sweet I eat are fiber one bars only for some fiber. Lift twice a week and stay moving. I try to add some carbs like beans and rice on lifting days. I eat around 1800 calories most days to lose weight and my macros end with usually 180g protein, 80-100g carbs, 50-60g fat, 10g sugar, and 25g fiber. I don-t eat empty calories, they all have to provide adequate nutrition. I-m a fatty at heart and this is helping me lose weight.

So what I got from this video is this:
1. Pretzels are bad
2. Meals should be the same macro %s that your entire day is
3. Vital wheat gluten is a bad source of protein
4. Meals should always contain protein
Nothing is really explained why these meals are bad. Is it the macros, is it the specific food? And calories are only mentioned once, so are they an important factor in weight loss?

All you have to do is go to the grocery store and get in line and look at what is in almost every cart and you realize why everyone is fat and diabetic. Eliminate the sugar, starch, grains and fruit. Then base your diet on what is left. In this order, meat/fish, modest dairy, low glycemic vegetables. That is what I live on. Steak, fish, eggs and greens primarily. People complicate things too much.

Started your gym workout program this week.
Did arms, shoulders, back but had to stop because I lost the ability to straighten my arms without agonising pain! I am not a new gym goer, have been going for 5 years 3-5 times a week consistently. But these workouts are next level. I will wait until I heal and keep going until I get the whole month in.

I-ve lost 100lbs last summer since the pandemic started because I-ve been into na 1500 calories per day without any macro computation whatsoever and I turn out to be a thin flabby pancake without muscles but right now I-m recovering from it slowly and I-m focusing now on my overall status and not just focusing on losing weight while feeling like crap

Hey this has nothing to do with this video, but i've always wantedto do your PPL workouts but i have a bit of a problem with leg day. I've been told I can't do squats, lungues, leg press, etc. because of my scoliosis. Do you think it's still possible to grow my legs by doing leg curls, hamstring curl, etc. without the big compound movements?

Ryan: not sure if your read the comments. Not sure if you watch the videos of your haters. I watched. They are jealous of you. That being said, I have been following you since April 2021. Went from looking fat to people saying to me, -I can see you have been working out. - Or some sort of phrase like that.

Vital wheat gluten isn-t some mysterious processed food or anything bad for you though. It-s literally just the gluten (protein) from flour and used in a lot of recipes. You can it by washing flour in water so all the starch washes out & you just have the gluten.
Also, it-s just another name for seitan.

this video was funny, but the info in it, or getting any real info out of it, is about as much of a dumpster fire as the meals you're critiquing. for starters, vital wheal gluten is basically seitan, which gives you a shitload of protein. lenny and larry's might be bad, seitan is not.
